Truck-mounted concrete mixers and agitators for ready-mix delivery and on-site batching across NZ.
Concrete mixer trucks (agitators) are truck-mounted rotating drums used to deliver ready-mix concrete. PS Equipment supplies Kyokuto drum and drive kits on NZ-compliant chassis, with drum capacities from 6m³ to 10m³, in rear or front discharge configurations.
6m³ suits urban delivery; 8m³ is the common NZ workhorse; 10m³ suits high-volume routes.
Rear discharge is standard; front discharge offers driver placement control on specific jobs.
Hydraulic drum drives are common — match drive rating to drum size and duty cycle.
NZ ADR and axle rules drive chassis choice. 8x4 is common for 8m³.
Operator-friendly water and chute controls matter for daily productivity and clean-down.
| Drum | Discharge | Typical chassis | Best for |
|---|---|---|---|
| 6 m³ | Rear | 6x4 | Urban, short routes |
| 8 m³ | Rear | 8x4 | General ready-mix workhorse |
| 10 m³ | Rear | 8x4 / 10x4 | High-volume routes |
Configurations are built to suit NZ chassis rules and customer preferences.
